Bible Note Quote: "Here I am, like Moses, but much less worthy, on the "backside of the dessert" as it were, and while peering across the apparently barren landscape of my life there is a burning bush that captures my attention and my heart. The fire of the bush corresponds with the fire in my heart and I cannot help but follow... The fire still burns!"

Contemplations about the Feelings of "Not Being Good Enough for the Heavenly Father"

{Posted in Bible Notes AND here)

While thinking of what I could write to help someone who has “feelings of not being good enough for the Heavenly Father”, I have become overwhelmed with how much God the Father truly loves each and every one of us and how undeserving we are of Him.

Dear people, God’s mercy, love, and grace are all freely given to us. All of His wonderful gifts of salvation, acceptance, healing, fulfillment in His will, eternal life, and etc. are freely offered to us if we will trust Jesus Christ, Who gave Himself for us!

His redemption plan, His atonement for our sins, and His gracious acceptance of our souls on the merits of Jesus Christ His only begotten Son are all the Lord’s doings — and it is marvelous in our eyes!

We bring our nothingness, our brokenness, our sinfulness, our inadequacies, our unworthy selves, and lay it all at Jesus’ feet. Then, He, by Whom God made all things (including us!), with His loving, all-powerful, nail-pierced hands takes what was worthy of rejection, wrath, and judgement and He makes it over anew in His own image!

I cannot bear this truth alone! I must share it with all the world!

May God bless each one who reads, likes, and shares my feeble attempt to describe the indescribable!

Amen!
