Bible Note Quote: "Here I am, like Moses, but much less worthy, on the "backside of the dessert" as it were, and while peering across the apparently barren landscape of my life there is a burning bush that captures my attention and my heart. The fire of the bush corresponds with the fire in my heart and I cannot help but follow... The fire still burns!"
quote from The Fire of God's Word Still Burns! ~ ~ (see former quotes here: Bible Note Quote Archives)

Prayer: a Wondrous Opportunity for God and Man!

Prayer: a Wondrous Opportunity for God and Man!

It has been said that prayer moves the hand of God. While I believe this is true, it is only part of the picture. True, wholehearted, honest, humble and believing prayer also allows God to form and transform the heart of the one who prays. Prayer will change one’s perspective (to a more Heavenly one!) right alongside the reading and studying of the Word of God. It will also help the praying one to become more like God and His dear Son!

Yes, prayer gives God opportunity(ies) to advance His kingdom work here on earth, but not necessarily more than it gives Him opportunity to advance His kingdom in the heart of the one who truly prays.
