Bible Note Quote: "Sometimes, it is God's will to remove the suffering; but, often it is His will to grant us the grace to suffer gracefully and submissively. Many times the Gospel of Jesus Christ is hereby so adorned and demonstrated to lost souls that they are convinced more so than by any other means."
quote from The Last Three Prayers of Jesus ~ ~ (see former quotes here: Bible Note Quote Archives)

The Woman at the Well

The Woman at the Well

"And he must needs go through Samaria."

"Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?" (John 4:4, 29)

Jesus did not blast her with condemning declarations. Instead He offered her hope, and a prime opportunity to get to know the Savior, Himself. It did not matter how much she was guilty of sin, for He loved her and would forgive her. He was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, and would soon literally give His life a sacrifice for the sins of the whole world including hers!

This is the main thought of a message that has begun to form in my heart of late. A brief outline follows.

1. The Woman
2. The Savior
3. The Message
4. The Transformation
